Mindless eating facts
Gosh, are you hungry? The same goes for the office. You weren't even hungry before but I started talking about food and now you want to eat. Use small plates and bowls. If it says low fat it means you can eat all you want. In order to replace unhealthy behaviors with healthy ones, you need to pay conscious attention. Having a wide variety of flavors in the same meal can delay this natural numbing, pushing you to eat more. I will show you my food and then I will close the door and let the thought of that food slowly burn in your brain. We found that if you move a candy dish from a person's desk to just six feet away, they end up eating about half the amount of candy. Since we eat with our eyes first, having large volumes of food regardless of calorie density works.
