The perfect school
While the social disposition towards school seems more positive in the US and Germany, valuing education more could only help. Who most benefits from looking hard at school perfection?
The students would be well- behaved, do their best to do well in their tests and exams and make their parents proud of them.
Much has been written about this pedagogical approach and we certainly see this type of creative learning demonstrated at the university level.
The practically perfect principal 1 builds a perfect school around a shared vision, 2 is a terrific communicator, 3 is highly resourceful, 4 compiles and analyzes data to share with his or her staff, and 5 leads a balanced life which includes having fun at work.
Though most of the others in the school would have handled the matter exactly as I did, they naturally clucked and shook their heads to her face.
The perfect school
Another key design focus for the perfect school is spatial organization. Nothing more. However, from my experience working in a third world country with very limited resources, I have found that by far the most valuable resource is the mind. Aug 2, Some things come to my mind when I think of a perfect school. First off, as a witness to the American education system, I think it's fair to say that a greater financial investment in school resources gives a school greater non-standard capabilities. In this I think the old joke about the tables turning so the military has to hold bake sales while the education force enjoys the indulgence of the nation would indeed bring about change. Our environments tell us who belongs, what behavior is expected, and what is valued. The canteen would have a variety of delicious snacks that would be healthy and freshly prepared. There has been very little coordinated effort on the part of the school system to counter this; it may be that providing a consistently more interactive environment will gain back students' attention and demonstrate that it is not the learning that bores students; it is the paradigm surrounding the learning. Less distractions. With our design of Benning Elementary School, we incorporated bright colors and bold patterns throughout, energizing the students and faculty. Though most of the others in the school would have handled the matter exactly as I did, they naturally clucked and shook their heads to her face.
The perfect school would have all the kinds of facilities, for example labs of the latest technology, sports fields, indoor swimming pool, computer room, music room, foreing language room and technology room.
This phenomenon can be partially attributed to the way most academic institutions foster individual's intellectual curiosity. From the start, the architect must engage interior designers, landscape architects, urban planners and graphic designers, as well as the educators, administrators and community.
Designing a school
Technology-driven design is another key component to creating the perfect school. Although these components are key and not to be overlooked, the design of the perfect school begs much more. In addition to spatial organization and lighting, color is a key consideration in designing the perfect school. Few projects could be a better example with its transparent interiors that enable students and staff passing through the building to see into labs, study spaces and classrooms. As the success of a student is often derived from the support of parents and the community, Pride of Place extends beyond the student, to the community as a whole. Overbearing parents believe the perfect principal is one who does their bidding, like acceding to demands to change a class placement, intervening in a minor classroom disciplinary incident, or absolving their child when he bullies another. While there are many factors to consider in design, it is important to remember the mission of the building — not just to house but also to educate and nurture the development of children. In fact, the perfect principal is a paradox, for the leader who is perfect for parents is frequently far from perfect to most of the staff. Variations of active-based learning include deeper learning, expeditionary learning and blended learning. The practically perfect principal 1 builds a perfect school around a shared vision, 2 is a terrific communicator, 3 is highly resourceful, 4 compiles and analyzes data to share with his or her staff, and 5 leads a balanced life which includes having fun at work. In this I think the old joke about the tables turning so the military has to hold bake sales while the education force enjoys the indulgence of the nation would indeed bring about change. Less distractions. We suggest the perfect school might collaborate with such organizations where there can be shared spaces that will enable the organization to come in and coordinate programs that will intrigue young students to consider professions they may not have previously considered. Integrating Proven Pedagogy Extensive research and prominent educators say that education must shift from traditional lecture style instruction to discovery. Learning can happen anywhere, and the perfect school would facilitate opportunities for learning and growing to occur around every corner.
